3. काही वाचलेलं- 

Will You Please Be Quiet, Please?  short story by Raymond Carver

लघुकथांच्या या अँथॉलॉजिमध्ये रेमंड कार्व्हर यांची ही कथा आहे. त्यांची Cathedral मागे वाचलेली. 

या कथेत टिपिकल मध्यमवर्गीय नवरा बायकोच्या आयुष्यात सगळं नीट चाललेलं असताना नवऱ्याला कळतं कि बायकोने दोन वर्षांपूर्वी विवाहबाह्य संबंध ठेवलेत आणि त्यानंतर शहरात भटकत, जुगारात पैसे गमावत, आणि गर्दुल्ल्याचा मार खात त्याने घालवलेली रात्र आणि त्याच्या मनात चाललेलं विचारांचं वादळ या कथेची थिम आहे. 

कथेच्या शेवटी आपल्याला त्याची कीव येते.
